Jordan and Arabian Mount Sinai Trip

This is a new, unique tour that we’re offering, maybe only once. The dates are April 22 to May 3, 2027.

We visited Saudi Arabia in spring 2025. Some of the points of interest relate to Jabal Maqla, one of the Arabian Mount Sinai candidates. It is sometimes referred to as Jabal el Lawz.

We plan to visit Jabal Maqla, known locally as the mountain of Moses. The cave high on the slope is known as Elijah’s cave. For the hikers in the group, we do plan to spend a day on the mountain.

Other sites on the itinerary include Jethro’s Caves in the land of Midian, Moses’ well, a potential Elim, and the Split Rock. The Arabian desert is an amazing place in its own right.

The rock constructions known as the Golden Calf Altar and the named Moses’ Altar are near Jabal Maqla. We’ll see numerous petroglyphs.

We’ll spend some days in Jordan, including Petra and Wadi Rum. You’ll have the option for a hot air balloon ride.

Sign up by October 31 for the early-bird discount.
